An incomplete cast copper alloy Roman razor handle. The handle is sub-triangular in plan and has an open attachment end, which is covered with iron corrosion and has the remains of an iron blade inside. The attachment end has a U-shaped aperture and one edge of the attachment end is truncated. The blade was secure with one rivet hole, which is completely covered with iron corrosion. An incomplete copper alloy Bronze Age razor of Piggott’s Class I. The blade is tongue-shaped with a flattened lozenge-shaped section. At one end is a parallel-sided tang with a truncated hole. There is no decoration on either side of the razor. The surviving length is 48.8mm, the width is 20.8mm, the blade thickness is 1.6mm and the weight is 4.74g. The tang has a width of 8.8mm and a thickness of 1.3mm.
