A lithic implement, likely of the Lower Palaeolithic Acheulian flint industry, dating from the Lower Palaeolithic to Early Middle Palaeolithic c.450,000-180,000 BC. Description: The implement is sub-triangular shape with one rounded edge. The entire surface has large covering flaking with some medium parallel retouch to create the scraper edge. The other end is pointed and, while the object is bifacially flaked it is too small to be classified as a handaxe. The flint is a medium orangey brown with some medium brown iron staining.
