The head bears a central motif of three nested rectangles enclosing a horizontal rib, with an outer border of closely juxtaposed stamped circles of diameter 1mm. Circular, with an enamel design resembling a seven pointed star - or a six pointed star with a thick stalk - on its raised pedestal, which is of thickness 2.9mm, and detached from a separate back plate of thickness 1.2mm, which retains gilding, and which may have had a series of projecting lugs. Though the enamel was confined in cells, there is little visible of their walls. A central square cell contains brick red enamel. Slightly concavo-convex silver disc decorated with five circular compartments of interlocking compass-drawn decoration, attached by four silver rivets of diameter 1.4mm and length 2.5mm to a similarly concavo-convex cast copper alloy disc. Each strand of interlace bears an off-centre incised line, probably to emphasise its course; the rivets are sunk between these lines where they intersect. There is a decorated vertical line of punched dots down the side of the head pate and also down a raised central band on each wing. A foot fragment of an Early Medieval Anglo Saxon cruciform brooch of Åberg Group III. The zoomorphic foot has scroll-shaped nostrils and two pellets for eyes, which are below a change in section moving to the forehead. Above the eyes is an incised chevron of three lines with a row of circular stamp impressions above it. There are also rows of crescentic stamp impressions down each side of the wedge shaped field between the nostrils. A fragment of a cast copper alloy Roman brooch, probably a Rosette Keyhole type. The semi-tubular wings have a tubular copper alloy insert which contains an iron axis bar for the hinged pin mechanism. Fragments of the copper alloy pin are visible through a slot in the centre of the tubular insert. The bow is set at a ninety-degree angle to the wings and the flat circular part of the bow is set parallel to the wings. A fragment of a Medieval ring brooch. The incomplete cast copper alloy pin is all that survives of the brooch. The attachment loop is truncated and the opposite end of the bar is missing. The bar has a D-shaped section and increased in thickness towards the loop and where it becomes keeled with notches. Beneath the bar is a pointed spur. The length is 36.4mm, the width is 6.0mm, the thickness is 12.8mm and the weight is 7.28g.

A fragment of a cast lead Early Medieval Anglo Saxon cruciform brooch. The fragment consists of part of the foot. Either side of which are lappets, originally in the form of eagle's heads. At the lower end of the fragment is a moulding representing the brow with ridges above the eyes on the foot. Behind the foot is the remains of the catchplate, which has been turned over, apparently for use. The bow is hollow backed and there are the remains of a catch plate under the foot plate. Traces of a side lappet survive, which allows the brooch to be placed in Åberg’s group VI. The breaks to the brooch are ancient. The surviving length is 52.1mm, the surviving width is 17.8mm, the thickness is 2.5mm and the weight is 11.43g.

The back of the knob had been cast hollow. At the end of the knob is a half round projection, which allows this brooch to be placed in Åberg’s group VI. Behind the head plate is a single lug, which bears traces if the iron spring mechanism. The surviving length is 39.2mm, the surviving width is 25.6mm, the thickness is 2.6mm and the weight is 14.18g.

A fragment from an Early Medieval Anglo Saxon square headed brooch. The cast copper alloy foot fragment is broken just below the line of the bow. It can be placed in Hine's class XVI as its foot is divided into two zones by vertical ribs, either side of which are two triangular panels. These are marked by raised strips, around which are lines of irregular billeting. Either side of the foot, just below the bow, are a pair of stylised bird's heads. An incomplete cast copper alloy Early Medieval Viking small circular brooch. The brooch is now is very poor condition with heavy corrosion and much loss of surface. The decoration consisted of four tendrils, which are looped through themselves and set around a central ring. Each tendril appears to have been made up of two stands. On the back is a perforated square lug though which is the remains of the iron pin. The hooked catch is broken. The surviving diameter is 28.3mm, the thickness is 1.7mm and the weight is 6.41g.

In the centre and widest part of the plate is a hemispherical boss set in an annular groove. A complete cast copper alloy medieval brooch. The annular frame has a pointed extension at one end to create a teardrop shape. The extension is decorated with a four-petal flower. The frame is divided into bands decorated with a fine net-like design alternating with plain. Looped around a constriction in the frame is a cast copper alloy pin, which has a transverse moulding. Traces of gilding survive on the front surface and the back is plain. The length is 32.8mm, the width is 25.1mm, the thickness is 2.7mm and the weight is 5.69g.
