A complete copper alloy early medieval (Anglo Saxon) plate-headed pin, c. late 9th century AD. The pin comprises a flat, sub-circular head decorated on the front with ring-and-dot motif at the four cardinal points and one in the centre. There are four circular perforations, one in each corner. It is undecorated on the back. There is no collar around the shank, which tapers gradually to a point and show very slight evidence of being hipped. The end of the shank is bent slightly to the left. Head of a copper alloy 8th century Anglo-Saxon pin, probably part of a triple, or double, pin set. The head and part of the shank survive in very good condition with hardly any corrosion or bronze disease present on the surface, except in the centre of the obverse where corrosion started in the crevices of the decoration. Complete cast copper alloy early medieval 'Wrythen pin' dating from the Middle Saxon period, that is c. 9th century. The pin is complete, but slightly bent out of shape and shows corrosive patches along the shaft. It has an oval/onion-shaped head (diameter 8mm) with engraved spiral decoration, often called 'wrythen-headed' (Hinton 1996, 16-17). There is a double-collar beneath its head. The shaft has a circular cross-section broken circular-section. Parallels on the database are NMS-11C7B1 and two finds in 2004 from Barton Bendish, Norfolk (HER 17212), and Beachamwell, Norfolk (HER 4530).

An incomplete and undecorated Bronze Age copper-alloy Picardy pin (1400 BC-1250 BC). This object is circular in cross-section throughout its length with a cell/recess at the top and a swollen shaft. At the top, the sides of the cell are vertical. From here the sides taper inwards and then flare outwards before gently tapering inwards towards a transverse break at the bottom. A fragment of an Early medieval, probably 8th century, copper alloy circular pinhead or brooch with traces of gilding. Part of the circumference survives along with panels of single-strand, non-zoomorphic, interlace and part of a volute-shaped element. This object is truncated but the curvature of the surviving edge suggests an original diameter of c. 30.0mm. A copper alloy possible pin of Early Medieval date. The object is anthropomorphic, being moulded in the form of a human male head, and inverted piriform in plan. The pointed end at the chin of the face is a patinated break. The object has a flat back and a moulded, three-dimensional front. It appears to be solid.
