An incomplete and undecorated Bronze Age copper-alloy Picardy pin (1400 BC-1250 BC). This object is circular in cross-section throughout its length with a cell/recess at the top and a swollen shaft. At the top, the sides of the cell are vertical. From here the sides taper inwards and then flare outwards before gently tapering inwards towards a transverse break at the bottom. A fragment of a Roman cast copper-alloy and iron key (AD 43-410). This fragment is the complete bow which is tri-lobed with a baluster collar. The tri-lobed element is pierced with three evenly spaced circular holes forming a triangle. Each hole has a diameter of about 5.8mm. Its outer end is straight and on each face at the end it is decorated with a horizontal groove which has oblique grooves above and below. On one side, the grooves have almost worn away.
