A complete copper-alloy mount of Early-Medieval date, c.AD 450 - 700. The main body of the object is ovate with a D-shaped section and a flattened terminal to one end and an expanded spatulate terminal to the other. The flattened terminal has a central perforation running through it. Two bulbous knopped protrusions flank the opposite terminal at the narrowest point. Medieval strap end, c. 1200-1400, made from sheet copper alloy with two leaves separated by a spacer. Rectangular, with a double indentation at its upper edge and a curved lower edge with a central projection. Undecorated. Through its upper part is a single rivet. Post Medieval copper alloy, asymmetric, buckle frame, dating from AD1550-1700. The frame is sub-rectangular, with one square loop and the other semi-circular, separated by an integral bar. The underside of the frame is flat and the inner and outer edges of the upper side are bevelled On the bar are the remains of what appears to have been an iron pin, now missing. Similar buckles are shown by Whitehead, 2003, 90-91, where a date of c. 1550-1700 a date that seems to fit with other evidence. Length 33.6mm, Width 25.0mm, Thickness 2.3mm, Masss 4.85g.

A copper alloy and iron Viking strap fitting of Early Medieval date. The object is sub-triangular in plan, expanding at either end and waisted in the centre. The wider expanded end is square in cross-section and has an iron core from which projects the remains of a possible circular rivet for attachment. A complete copper alloy mount of Early-Medieval date. The mount is triquetra in form with a flat, rectangular profile. The upper surface is decorated with an intricate carved interlace design which retains gilding. The exact nature of the decoration is difficult to determine due to wear though an intertwining rope work-style border appears to be present around each loop and into the centre panel. The object is a tapering strip of copper alloy (D shaped in section) which has been bent round to for a broadly circular shape (possibly caused by . Both ends of the object terminate in old, abraded breaks. There is no decoration on either surface of the object. The metal is a dark brown in colour with a slightly pitted surface patina. Two parts of a copper alloy object, a Medieval buckle dating from AD 1250 - 1450. About half of the hoop survives in two pieces. It is a rounded rectangle in section, expanding slightly in width at one end. This projection would have been part of a projecting pin rest and is thinner than the hoop of the frame. The hoop is decorated on the surviving side by expanding the width of the hoop into three openwork lobes, so there are three rings along the side of the hoop. A copper alloy probable Early Medieval hanging bowl escutcheon of unusual form. The object is a pointed oval plate of metal, one side of which continues as if to form a circular frame, with the oval against the edge, but the frame only survives for a few millimetres. The frame edge is triangular in section, bevelled on the inside edge. The oval plate is thinner than the frame, recessed on the reverse. The edge of the plate appears to be complete. It dates from between c450 AD and c600 AD. The PAS database has other Aberg Group II and III brooches, but none with that closely match this one. There are a number of records that have a similar zoomorphic horsehead as a part of their design.
