Four waste flakes of probable Neolithic to Bronze Age date. The striking platform and bulb of percussion are not evident on any of the pieces but the ventral surfaces bear ripples of percussion. 1. A complete lithic thumb scraper of Neolithic date designed to be held between your thumb and forefinger. The object is roughly D-shaped in both plan and section with the outer curved edges showing signs of retouch. The ventral surface is smooth with the bulb of percussion still present as well as ripples of percussion and the dorsal surface is irregular having had numerous flakes removed during the shaping process. The worked edge along one side is fairly shallow. The flint is a mid grey colour. The implement is 27.9mm long, 26.1mm wide, 6.3mm thick and weighs 5.9g.

An incomplete knapped lithic implement of Neolithic date. The object is a snapped flint blade, roughly rectangular in plan and section which tapers to a point. One end is snapped off removing the striking platform and bulb percussion but numerous ripples of percussion are still present on the ventral surface. The dorsal surface has had flakes removed during the shaping process. The flint is a light grey colour with small white inclusions. The implement is 23.8mm long, 16.7mm wide, 2.3mm thick and weighs 1.3g.

A lithic thumb side scraper of Neolithic date designed to be held between your thumb and forefinger. The object is tear drop in shape and rectangular in section with the edges showing signs of being worked. The ventral surface is smooth with ripples of percussion present and the dorsal surface is flat and the worked edges are fairly steep and heavily worked. The striking platform and bulb of percussion no longer remain but ripples of percussion can still be seen on both surfaces. A knapped lithic implement of early Bronze Age date. The implement is roughly figure of eight-shaped in plan with an irregular plano-convex section. Evidence of knapping is only present in one area of the implement where a semi-circular notch has been created with steep sides which taper to form a sharp edge. The limited knapping suggests this piece was a naturally occurring flint with the notch removed for a function. The flint is a mid whitish-brown colour with no evidence of cortex re-growth. The implement is 66.2mm long, 37.6mm wide, 15.5mm thick and weighs 36.1g.
