Possibly a cast copper alloy medieval monumental brass fragment. The irregular shaped plate has two surviving bevelled edges. The face of the plate is decorated with incised lines but which form no coherent pattern. There are two rivet holes through the object and the back of the object is plain. The bevelled edges means the back is smaller than the front, which suggests that the plate was intended to be inlaid into a surface. The surviving length is 35.9mm, the surviving width is 25.3mm, the thickness is 1.8mm and the weight is 5.37g.
