A copper alloy and iron Viking strap fitting of Early Medieval date. The object is sub-triangular in plan, expanding at either end and waisted in the centre. The wider expanded end is square in cross-section and has an iron core from which projects the remains of a possible circular rivet for attachment. From the solid square end the object narrows and thins towards the opposite end which is split. The split measures 10mm in length, and is held together by a copper alloy circular rivet at the terminal with a diameter of 3mm. Each face of the object is decorated with six transverse …

A cast copper alloy unidentified object of Early Medieval to Medieval date. The object is conical and faceted with an oval base. The object tapers towards the top which is rounded and complete. Four rounded knops decorate each side of the object just below the rounded top. The object is decorated with a series of punched dots forming a border around the bottom edge of the object. Cast copper alloy openwork mount in the Urnes style. Decorated on one side with cast interlace, plain on the back. Irregular in plan but roughly tapers to a narrow end where it has broken. The opposite wider end has an off-centre pointed projection.
