An incomplete lead alloy plumbob dating to the Medieval period. The weight is oval in plan and cross-section with a central decorated panel on each face. The decorated panel on each face sits within an oval depression with the decoration on one face consisting of a zig-zag ridge running the length of the panel with three pellets between each turn of the ridge. A cast copper alloy Early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) copper alloy buckle frame, probably dating from the 6th century. The frame is rectangular, with a single loop, thick edges and a recessed narrowed bar. The pin is missing. The underside of the buckle is flat and plain but the upper face is decorated with a curved recess either side of the notch for the pin. The recess contains seven raised triangles on each side. The recess would probably have been inlaid with decoration, perhaps in a zig-zag around the raised triangles. Damage at one side of the frame suggests that the inlay may have b…

Cast bronze strap-distributor dating to the Early-Medieval period. It consists of a ring 25.03mm in diameter, with a three-spoked construction and a central circular setting containing a domed green glass setting 6.48mm in diameter. Each of the spokes terminates in a moulded animal head with pronounced hollowed-out ears and a moulded snout. Attached to the ring are two zoomorphic clasps.
