A complete Neolithic to Bronze Age notched flint denticulate (c. 4000 - c. 801 BC.). This implement has been manufactured from a tertiary waste flake with a large striking platform. The dorsal face has a single off-centre median arris and on the right side at the distal end are two deliberately worked notches. The ventral face is convex and has a vague bulb of percussion and percussion scar. The flint is grey with creamy mottling and iron staining. Height: 48.9mm; width: 42.7mm; thickness: 18.4mm. Weight: 33.68g.
