This object was originally recorded as "Knife / dagger pommel" but the image but the image has been manipulated in order to make it clearer and it is now appears to show three views of a curved guard from a late Iron Age sword. It may be compared to an example from Llyn Cerrig Bach, Anglesey (Savory, 1976, Fig. 24.1). Other parallels exist on the PAS database (NMS-C4D772 and HESH-ECC623) and it is notable that the tops of many surviving Iron Age scabbards have the same curved profile as seen on this find (Jope, 2000, Plates 203-9)

A cast copper alloy fragment with enamelled decoration of probable late Iron Age or Roman date. The anchor-shaped fragment measures 21.8mm by 17.5mm by 3.2mm and weighs 3.97g. It is possibly part of a harness fitting or vessel mount. The enamel lies in three cells. Two are small and circular and sit at the end of the curving terminals. The other cell is larger and follows the overall shape of the object. An incomplete cast copper alloy Iron Age ring-headed pin of ‘swan’s neck type’. The ring head has an external diameter of 13.7mm and a rounded outer edge. The hole though the centre of the head has a diameter of 4.1mm and has an ‘hourglass’ form. The integral pin shaft is attached to the ring at a tangent and curves around a 5mm radius before straightening to form the 3.2mm diameter pin shaft. The end of the shaft is broken and shows some signs of bronze disease. The surviving length is 34.8mm, the thickness is 5.0mm and the weight is 5.87g.

A pierced Iron Age gold Stater, uninscribed North East Coast Type, Corieltavi. Van Arsdell number 800-11. The oval hole has circumferential grooves around the inside of the hole and there is a burr on both sides of the hole. The hole is drilled not punched.

An incomplete cast copper alloy Late Iron Age to early Roman Colchester type brooch. The one-piece bow has a spring pin mechanism, which is now missing, but the hook that retained the spring is still present. Both the footplate and catchplate are missing. The length is 50.7mm, the width is 11.3mm, the thickness is 4.0mm and the weight is 5.18g.

A cast copper-alloy Iron Age linch pin terminal, which is the foot of the pin. The foot has a deep square socket, inside a cylindrical, tapering shaft. There is a collar around the mouth of the socket. The socket measures 11.2mm x 10.8mm at the opening and is 20mm deep. This square aperture would have held the iron pin, which has long since corroded away. A cast copper alloy cosmetic mortar. The cosmetic mortar is an elongated crescent in profile with an integral loop beneath one terminal. The loop is circular with a slightly oval hole, only half of the loop survives- the breaks are worn. The body of the mortar is 'U' shaped in section, which tapers in width and depth towards each terminal becoming shallower. The base of the mortar is slightly rounded. An incomplete cast copper-alloy strap slide, dating to between the 1st century BC and the 1st century AD. The front face of the slide consists of an oval plate with pointed ends. The points have shallow arrises and there is a large dominant design in the centre. The design features a large circular dome, inside a circular groove. The dome has a flat top which has been chip-carved. The design in the centre features a cross, which is raised. Bracelet fragment, probably dating from the Iron Age (800-300BC). A similar example was found in what is assumed to be a Late Bronze Age context at Castle Hill, Scarborough, and they have Hallstatt origins. The length is 95mm, the width is 60mm, the thickness 16mm and the weight 117.85g.
