A copper alloy pin with a spherical head. The head is 7mm long and appears to have been cast in two halves, although it is difficult to be certain from the photograph used for recording. The shaft tapers to the tip and is bent in an L-shape. The pin is 36mm long bent and about 58mm long unbent. Dr Kevin Leahy writes: While it is difficult to be certain from the photograph it appears that there are traces of a small collar beneath the head and the shank may be 'hipped' - its lower section expanding.
