An incomplete Early Medieval copper alloy and enamel buckle, dating to c AD 650 - 750. It consists of the loop of what was probably a three-part buckle. Tongue and plate (which would have been integral to one another) and what was probably a sub-triangular body, are missing. The loop is sub-pelta shape with the outer edge possibly taking the form of two opposed stylised zoomorphic heads, raised up, their snake-like tails continuing around the loop and almost meeting at the attachment end. A complete Late Anglo-Saxon (Early Medieval) to early Post Medieval iron single bladed axehead, dating to c AD 850 - 1650. The surface is moderately corroded. It has an almost symmetrical form, but with a slightly extended beard on the lower part of the curved cutting edge. Something of the bevel on the cutting edge remains. The blade narrows towards the axe head (point of contact with handle, now missing) flaring out again to create two sub triangular extensions (axe lips or lugs) above and below, on both sides, of the axe eye (opening for handle). An incomplete Middle Iron Age copper alloy brooch, dating to c. 250-100 BC. Adams, 2013, Type 2Ba3. The pin is missing. The brooch has three sub-oval cone-shaped hollow bosses in a line, creating a scalloped edge on each side. Each boss has a setting in the apex for coral or enamel, now missing. At each end of the brooch is a transverse collar and an elongated knop similar to an acorn shape which extends from the base of the cone. The cones thus are raised up from the ends. A fragment of copper-alloy casting waste of uncertain date. The casting waste is amorphous in form, but narrows to a wide rounded terminal at one end. A horizontal ridge is at its widest point, as well as a series of striations arranged both horizontally and longitudinally. Further, longer longitudinal striations are present at the narrowed end. The reverse exhibits a long rough moulding along its length, which birfurcates at the wider end. There is a green patina on the surface, as well as blackened areas.

An incomplete Early Medieval copper alloy sword pommel dating to AD 550-670. The pommel is sub-triangular in plan, consisting of a central rectangular boss flanked by sub-rectangular wings; the latter have a flat base, their top edge converging towards the slightly obliquely angled terminal. The left wing and much of the reverse has been lost to old breaks. The pommel is hollow, with the base being open and with one edge of an incomplete sub-rectangular aperture on top of the rectangular boss. There is no surviving decoration, although the artefact is highly abraded.

A flint tranchet axehead from the early Mesolithic period (c.9000 - 8000 BC). The flint is a dark brownish-grey and fairly opaque with elements of the cortex visible. The axe is crudely worked, with a rounded cutting edge, roughly parallel sides and a pointed butt. It has a broadly triangular cross-section. The flint appears to be in the second stage of being worked due to the patches of cortex on its butt and and its ventral and dorsal faces. A complete iron axehead of medieval to post-medieval date (AD 700-1660). The object is sub-rectangular with a wedge shaped blade and an open triangular socket. None of the haft is retained.
It is c 225.50mm in length and 91.20mm in width/height at the cutting edge The blade tapers towards the socket where it is 49.36mm in width/height, then widens to 57.43mm at the far end of the socket. A slightly worn early-medieval cast copper-alloy strap-end of sub-rectangular form which tapers towards the tip. The strap end is 36.05mm in length, 11.15mm wide, 5.8mm thick and weighs 7.61 grams.

The mount has raised decoration consisting of a raised triangle located in between a V with curved tips. Below is what appears to be a depiction of a paw. The decoration is abraded in places. The bottom of the mount appears to possibly be incomplete with an abraded edge, a small fragment of the right side of the mount is missing. The reverse is flat and undecorated, evidence of solder is visible on the reverse.

An Early Medieval (Romanesque) to 14th century (1100-1400) copper-alloy possible terminal from a drinking horn. It is curving in profile, both upwards and slightly to one side, measuring 62.04mm in length and weighing 21.95g.
The terminal comprises a hollow conical socket terminating in a zoomorphic head, most likely a dragon or other mythical creature. A Medieval (1270-1350) robust cast copper alloy mirror case, complete with the (loose) broken glass mirror inside. It measures 42.87mm in length, 31.40mm in diameter/ width and 8.39mm thick. Weighs 15.06g.
Both halves of the mirror case are slightly domed to the outside surface, which beneath the concretion on one of the sides, has a smooth and shiny dark patina. Each half of the mirror has two lugs projecting from one edge and a single lug from the opposite edge - arranged on top of each other the single lug fits between the pair for the hinge and catch.

The mount is oval in shape and convex to the front (decorated) surface, and mostly hollow to the reverse (the edges are thickened). It depicts two separate beasts, each with its own limbs intertwined. At either end of the mount is a rivet hole (both rivets missing), around which a tail or limb curves.

The catchplate survives on the reverse. The brooch would have been 36.2mm in diameter though this is now its height only - its width is 25mm. It weighs 7.4g and is 1.7mm thick.
