An incomplete cast copper-alloy object of uncertain function, possibly a brooch dating to the Medieval period (c. AD 1000-1200). The object is disc-shaped with a raised hemispherical central boss. The upper surface is decorated with a moulded circular and geometric pattern. The four concentric ring and dot motifs, one roughly in each quarter of the plate, consist of a single grooved circle, another circle within it and a circular dot at the centre. It consists of a slightly tapering rectangular plate, which has a rectangular cross-section and an ornate loop protruding from the top edge; the lower edge has an old break now worn. The front face of the loop bears a moulding depicting a ribbon, which is centered on the top edge. Below the circular hole of the loop, on the front face of the plate there is a cast motif depicting an open hand emerging from a possible cloud. A complete Neolithic flint flaked axehead, dating to the period BC 4000-2400. The axehead is sub-oval in plan as it is rounded at one terminal and tapers to a rounded point at the other. It is triangular in cross section. It has been struck from a black-grey flint with light brown inclusions, and retains c.10% cortex. Both faces exhibit covering, scaled, semi-abrupt flaking. The flaked axehead measures 131.17mm in length, 44.60mm in width and 32.69mm in thickness. An incomplete Mesolithic to Neolithic retouched flake, dating 10,000-2,350 BC. The flake is triangular in shape with evidence of retouch on both sides. Faint traces of a bulb of percussion are visible on one side, though few other indicators of knapping are present. One tip of the object also appears to have broken away, probably during knapping. Due to the incompleteness of this object it is difficult to further specify a period of production. Dimensions: length: 35.28 mm; width: 44.46 mm; thickness: 10.74 mm; weight: 20.12g.

A tertiary flint blade. The presence of a very slight bulb of percussion suggests soft hammer production. A conchoidal fracture can be seen on the dorsal face. Two other angles have also been struck from the strike platform forming a sub-triangular cross-section across the blade. The stike platform is unclear suggesting that it may have been chipped or damaged during deposition. Early Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) cast copper alloy openwork artefact, possibly a dagger chape. It is rectangular in plan, with a sub-rectangular cross section. It is hollow, with openwork decoration on both faces. The decoration is in the same style as Winchester strap ends, however the form of this artefact is completely different. Almost complete cast copper alloy Anglo-Saxon hooked tag of 8th century date. The tag has a flat, elongated triangular plate. Extending from the tip of the triangle is the integral pointed hook which curves back the rear of the object. This is now truncated and survives for no longer than 5.4mm. At the top of the plate are two circular perforations for attachment. The front of the tag is decorated with a recessed linear, geometric design of triangles and lozenge shapes. It is 42.3mm in diameter, 4.28mm thick, mass 30.44g. The decoration consists of a central panel of four interlaced relief animals, their bodies marked by lines of dots, as can be seen on the great gold buckle from Sutton Hoo. Complete silver Anglo-Saxon hooked tag. The tag has a flat, circular plate from which extends the complete integral hook, which tapers and curves back to the rear of the object. The circular plate is decorated with a raised motif of eight solid, sub oval segments radiating from a central, raised, solid circle, surrounded by a narrow border at the edge of the plate.
