An incomplete post-medieval iron knife with probably a bone handle. The whittle-tang iron blade is incomplete and survives in a very corroded and fragmentary state. The surviving length of the blade is 40.0mm and the tip is missing. The sub-rectangular handle, is rectangular in section and expands slightly from the knife blade. Both faces of the handle are symmetrical with exactly the same decoration on both sides.
