Incomplete cast tin replica of a devotional cruciform pendant, missing its fourth arm which was attached to a suspension loop. Each of the three surviving arms have a spherical knop at the terminus that is 5 mm in diameter. The flat disc or roundel that forms the centre of the cross is 11 mm in diameter and is very pitted but appears to have two incised letters on each face within a circular border that is 1 mm in from the edge. There appear to be the letters AG on one face and LA on the reverse face, which is similar to the pendants below, but not a copy of either of them. 'AGLA' is …

Incomplete cast lead spherical vessel with a protruding cylindrical spout, about 8 mm in diameter, that might have also been used as a handle. This might be a miniature lead vessel, representing a larger copper alloy cauldron or round-bottomed vessel, and was probably used as a toy. A variety of miniature lead-alloy kitchen items are known from the 16th to the 18th century (Egan, 1988, 2). The upper edge of the vessel is torn and uneven, so it is difficult to say whether there was another handle or whether this might be a jug with a spout. It may just be the product of melting lead on…

Cast lead alloy toy figure of a rider on horseback, missing his head, and the head and legs of the horse. The figure has been decorated on both sides, with different details of the rider and horse on each side. The rider is wearing the typical attire of a cavalryman consisting of a skirted tunic, trousers and knee-high boots, with a strap across the chest which connects to the sword belt which in turn suspends the scabbard on one side. He holds the reins in his left hand and reaches out with his right, likely with a sword in his hand, but this is missing. The rider is sitting on a sad…

Cast copper alloy staple, round in section for half of its length and rectangular in section for the remaining half. This latter half has been drawn and flattened and then the end has been bent over. The opposite end has been broken off revealing a central ridge which suggests it has been sheared off at this point, and may have a hook originally at the opposite end. The central area has been ground down to a flat surface, suggesting it was exposed to repetitive wear. The end that has been turned over has been ground off in two directions, one has left a burr behind on the edge of the …
