Post medieval to modern cast copper alloy finger ring, possibly incorporating an earlier medieval setting. The stones or glass from the cartouche setting are absent now, but originally there would have been three small ones. The cartouche has been attached to the ring loop & is made from a copper alloy with a different quantity of tin in it. Length 23mm, width 18mm. Dates between c1650 and c1900 AD.

A post-medieval 16th or early 17th century AD copper alloy belt suspension loop (cf Read 790). The suspension loop is probably a sword hanger. The suspension loop is intact, projecting from the top edge at right angles to the plane of the plate, and the artefact is apparently in fair condition. The bare metal of the suspension loop has a dark green patina which also shows on the reverse side. Copper alloy cast Georgian fob seal probably dating between 1714 to 1830AD. The fob is intact apart from the seal inlay and would have originally been gilded. The openwork casting consists of a suspension ring extending to two connected crescents bearing laurel-leaf detailing, the lower ends of which are attached to the base which comprises a plain border enclosing a dished panel. On the underside would have been an intaglio now missing possibly made of glass. Post Medieval copper alloy rein guide or check rein hook. Probably from a carriage or coach horse harness, with a horn shaped finial to the guide and a hand cut threaded shank to screw into attachment point. Dates to between c1700 and c1900 AD. The length is 74mm, width 50mm, and the thickness (at the collar) is 18mm.

Shackle from a chatelaine, the bar being removable to allow keys to be attached/detached dating to the 18th or early 19th century AD. A chatelaine is a decorative belt hook or clasp worn at the waist with a series of chains suspended from it. Each chain is mounted with a useful household appendage such as scissors, thinmbles, watch, keys, household seal etc. Chatelaines were worn by many housekeepers in the 19th century. Copper alloy Post-medieval strap slider with central circular boss. The slider is cast into the shape of a dome with 8 radiating grooves and thirteen. At the centre is a spherical boss. On the reverse there are 2 parallel lugs to act as an attachment to a belt or strap which is integrally cast. The diameter is 38mm, thickness 32mm and the weight is 30g.

Perhaps a Post Medieval silver sixpence of William III (1694-1702). The coin may have originally had a double bend in it and part of the flan may have been deliberately smoothed erasing the design. Coins treated in this way are thought to be 'love tokens. The coin is inscribed with the letters NT perhaps the initials of the owner or recipient of the coin. The diameter is 16mm, and the weight is 1.32g.
