A complete knapped lithic implement of Mesolithic date, circa 7000 - 4000 BC. The implement is a fabricator which is ovate in both plan and section. The ventral surface is fairly smooth with visible ripples of percussion. The dorsal surface has been extensively worked displaying covering semi-abrupt, scaled retouch.
The flint is a pale orangey-yellow colour displaying possible repatination from an iron rich environment. The implement is 43.9mm long, 20.7mm wide, 7.9mm thick and weighs 8.1g.
