A fragment of an unidentified copper-alloy object. The piece is roughly rectangular in plan and has three complete sides, the shortest (broken)side revealing a pointed-oval section. From the broken edge it widens slightly towards the complete end (blade) but tapers gradually in thickness with a more pronounced bevel, on both sides, nearer the blade. Unusual object that remains unidentified but could perhaps be a toggle for fastening clothing. The toggle is broadly circular in section, cylindrical in plan with tapering ends and a hole possibly for an attachment loop near one terminal. This object is difficult to date but it could be Late Iron Age - Roman 300BC - 410AD or even later. The object shares some similarities with LANCUM-3D1943 The length is 36mm, and the width is 10mm.

A fragment from a cast copper alloy undecorated socketed axehead of Late Bronze Age date. The piece represents the lower part of the axehead. It is rectangular in section with a hollow rectangular socket. Viewed in plan, the sides flare outwards slightly to the cutting edge which is modestly curved. The axe terminates in old breaks mid-way above the blade end. The cutting edge is 2.92mm thick and is quite damaged. It is 57.24mm in length, 35.78mm wide and weighs 57.8g. At the socketed end the axe is 4.71mm thick. It has a dark grey/black patina.

An Early Bronze Age thumbnail scraper of a mid brown translucent flint. The dorsal face has fine retouch starting midway on the left and continuing along the distal end to the bottom of the right side. The ventral face has a concoidal fracture and a small bulb of percussion. The length is 22.8mm, the width is 18.1mm, the thickness is 5.7mm and the weight is 2.64g.

A complete knapped lithic implement of Bronze Age date, circa 2500 - 1500BC. The implement is a button scraper formed from a secondary flake which is ovate in plan and D-shaped in section. The ventral surface is smooth with no bulb of percussion or striking platform remaining. The dorsal surface has been extensively worked and displays long, abrupt, parallel retouch around the distal end. The flint is a chalky white colour. A tertiary flint, late, scraper. This piece of flint is a pale orangey-brown suggesting that it had been subjected to iron staining and a pale grey shows through on the areas of retouch. The retouch is short, scaled and abrupt. A fragment of fossil or shell impression is present on one side of this object. Weight is 10.43g, length is 44.3mm, width is 34.0mm and thickness is 10.3mm. A primary flint, very late and very crudely made, scraper. A large inclusion occupies approximately half of the inner surface of the flint, which seems to have two hinge fractures along two edges. The most obvious of these has an abrupt near vertical angle although this may account for later damage. The other possible hinge fracture, if it is such, is much more subtle running along the edge of the flint. A tertiary flint scraper. This flint has a subtriangular cross-section with a longitudinal mid ridge along one surface. The opposite side has evidence of a shallow bulb or percussion and very shallow S-shaped profile indicative of soft hammer working. All surfaces are heavily recorticated except for the areas of retouch suggesting that these are evidence of more recent reworking. An incomplete copper alloy Bronze Age razor of Piggott’s Class I. The blade is tongue-shaped with a flattened lozenge-shaped section. At one end is a parallel-sided tang with a truncated hole. There is no decoration on either side of the razor. The surviving length is 48.8mm, the width is 20.8mm, the blade thickness is 1.6mm and the weight is 4.74g. The tang has a width of 8.8mm and a thickness of 1.3mm.

A complete cast copper alloy Bronze Age Quoit headed pin. The ring is oval but is slightly pointed where it joins the circular-sectioned pin shaft. It has an ‘H’ section which measures c. 5.0mm x 2.3mm and blends smoothly into the pin. This ‘H’ section appears to have been formed by hammering the edges of the ring section to raise them into the flanges. These flanges are decorated with notches on both sides of the ring. The slightly bent shaft is now about 45° off the plain of the ring. The length is 144.0mm, the diameter of the ring is 66.1mm x 60.0mm and the weight is 29.11g.

A semi-circular notch is present centrally on the straight edge which has steep retouch and tapers from ventral to dorsal surface forming a sharp edge. The flint is a mid blackish-grey with some lighter inclusions. The implement is 51.3mm long, 41mm wide, 10.9mm thick and weighs 26.9g.
