Probably an early Bronze Age anvil stone dating to between c2100 and c1500 BC.. It reminiscent of the Early Bronze Age anvil stones from a smiths grave at Lunteren in the Netherlands; see http://1501bc.com/page/rijks_museum_oudheden/0214038.JPG. It is incredibly heavy for its size (too heavy for the finds scales) and shows evidence of continual impacts that appear deliberately placed. Possibly part of a late Bronze Age dish-shaped ingot dating 1150 to 800BC. The fragment is sub-cuboid in shape with a rough area on one surface which could be where the cast bronze was open to the air in the mold. The patina is a light green and constant with a Bronze Age date. Similar to KENT-605B16, SWYOR-9226F6, and in a hoard KENT-0F86A5 on the database. The length is 78mm, 60mm wide and 35mm in thickness and the weight was too heavy for the scales.

Unusual object that remains unidentified but could perhaps be a toggle for fastening clothing. The toggle is broadly circular in section, cylindrical in plan with tapering ends and a hole possibly for an attachment loop near one terminal. This object is difficult to date but it could be Late Iron Age - Roman 300BC - 410AD or even later. The object shares some similarities with LANCUM-3D1943 The length is 36mm, and the width is 10mm.
