An early post-medieval (c.1500-1600) silver gilt dress hook of Read's Class D, Type 7 (quatrefoil) with separately soldered hook and attachment loop. One end of the plate has been bent and it is missing two decorative bosses. The quatrefoil-shaped plate is decorated with five large rings of twisted wire, four occupying each 'foil' around a central fifth; not all the rings are complete, perhaps through damage. A medieval silver annular brooch complete with pin, probably dating between 1200 and 1400. The frame has a sub-triangular cross-section, being flat to the underside with a convex outside edge, and a constriction for the pin. The tip of the pin turns upwards at c.90 degrees, away from the brooch. No decoration is present on either side of the frame, but there are tooling marks to the underside. An incomplete late Iron Age to early Roman cast zoomorphic copper-alloy strap-fitting. A strap-distributor dating to the period 50 BC - AD 50. It is incomplete insofar as at least one of the two conjoined circular loops (D-shaped in cross-section) has broken off. There are worn projections which emerge beneath the horse's head, and it is from here that a possible third circular loop projected, now broken off. An incomplete Roman (AD 43-70) tinned or silvered copper alloy Hod Hill brooch, without side lugs. It is missing its lower bow and catchplate. The wingspan is 13.8mm, the wings curling forward to hold the (copper alloy) axis bar. At the centre the elongated rectangular head of the pin rotates around the axis bar. This then extends into the shank which termiantes in a worn break, 0.8mm in diameter. An incomplete Neolithic (4000 - 2100 BC) polished flint axehead wih damage to the butt end and missing the cutting edge, probably from around half the original length of the axehead. The axehead is pointed-oval in cross-section and has been bifacially worked with polishing apparent on both faces and sides. Flakes appears to have been removed both on top of and beneath the polishing. Iron staining is apparent on the edges of flake removals. An incomplete copper alloy Roman (AD 200-300) finger-ring of Henig Type VII, missing the back of the hoop and its oval setting. The bezel is pointed-oval in shape (20.0x11.4mm) set on a wider platform with 'wings' to either side (max.12.4mm wide) that extend the length of the triangular shoulders. The old breaks occur where the hoop extends, D-shaped in cross-section and measuring c.3.5x1.2mm. A fragment of gilded silver late medieval finger ring, consisting of roughly half the bezel and a section of the hoop. This fragment joins with HAMP-FDC75C / 2016 T1036 (and completes the bezel). The weight is biconical with two short projections extending at either apex, the remains of a circular iron suspension loop (at top and bottom).
