A Roman silver-plated copper alloy contemporary copy of silver denarius of Nero (AD 54-68), showing Roma standing left to the reverse and probably RO-MA to either side. Mint and date of prototype: Rome, c. AD 67-8 (Reece period 3). Reference for prototype: RIC I p.154, 70. The coin is worn and damaged to the reverse with fabric lost from the core.
