An incomplete lead-alloy medieval ampulla, missing it neck and broken just above the rounded bottom half. The break is old and the ampulla is a little squashed.
The ampulla is decorated on one side with a quatrefoil design, each foil or petal with a central longitudinal raised rib and between each petal a narrower pointed 'leaf' without rib decoration. The other face is decorated with a raised circular rib within which is raised cross-hatching and a central letter 'I'. A post-medieval (1500-1800) two- or four-part lead cloth seal, consisting of an incomplete disc one only with some of the edge missing (old damage). The rivet is stamped with a ligated RW. It measures 14.6mm in length/ diameter, 2.8mm in max. thickness (edges - without rivet - 0.9mm thick) and weighs 2.49g.

Half of the connecting strip (where it bends to the reverse) and part of disc two/ four is missing (old breaks). It measures 26.4mm in length (with the surviving connecting strip), 24.7mm in width, 4.9mm in max. thickness and weighs 6.46g. A rather worn medieval lead papal bulla of Pope Clement V, whose papacy lasted from 1305 to 1314. The obverse depicts the faces of St Peter and St Paul below the inscription SPASPE (SPA = Sanctus Paulus, SPE = Sanctus Petrus), all of which are surrounded by the remains of a beaded border, flanking the outside edge of the bulla. A Medieval (1150-1500) lead pilgrim's ampulla, apparently complete but with part of one corner slightly damaged and twisted inwards. One of its side lugs is also a little squashed. The metal is now a deep brown in colour.
The rounded end depicts a scallop shell (Spencer's type II) on one side beneath a raised transverse band, decorated with raised diagonal lines. An undatable (probably Roman to Post-Medieval, AD 1-1800) conical lead weight with a central piercing, standing 13.81mm in height and weighing 37.1g.
The base is c.26mm in diameter (piercing 9.4mm diameter) with a concentric-ring groove around, the top c.11mm diameter (piercing 6mm diameter).
Lead weights are difficult to date when found out of context as their form does not differ much through time.

A complete lead or lead alloy bi-convex decorated spindle whorl (or weight), of probable Medieval dating (1100 to 1500). The object is sub-circular in shape, and lentoid in cross-section. It measures 20.93mm in diameter and stands 7.00mm in height, weighing 15.0g.
The object has a central aperture, measuring 4.77mm in diameter on one side and 5.49mm diameter on the other (flat side). Both faces are undecorated.

A corroded, damaged and incomplete cast lead-alloy medieval pilgrim's ampulla. The artefact is flask-shaped, with a rounded, sub-circular lower chamber. The upper half is broadly rectangular, seemingly expanding slightly at the top. The top has suffered extensive losses on both sides and the suspension loop/handle lugs are now missing. A Late Medieval/ Post-Medieval (1400-1800) probably lead-alloy fragment from a pair of scissors, consisting of one finger-loop and a projection to one side of the outside edge. It measures 24.81mm in diameter (internal 19.03mm) and weighs 4.9g.
The hoop is circular and 2.61mm in thickness. It has a flat, square bezel 10.68.3mm, which has some damage at one of the edges and is decorated with a quatrefoil with a small cross at the centre. The hoop and the shoulders are of equal thickness, with a wide prominent mid-rib.

A complete but slightly damaged cast lead-alloy Medieval seal matrix, probably dating to the 13th-14th centuries AD. The seal matrix is circular in plan and broadly flat in section. It depicts a central eight petalled flower within a solid circle, with the petals at the cardinal points tear shaped, and those at the diagonals formed from two lines. A lead alloy Victorian-era pencil sharpener. The pencil sharpener is conical in shape with two arms projecting upwards and outwards from the peak. These arms would have joined a single rounded terminated that is now missing. The initials 'S G' can be seen on one side in a sub-rectangular border.
