An incomplete early post-medieval silver gilt dress hook of Read's Class D, Type 6 (trefoil), dating to c. 1500 - 1600; it is missing its separately soldered recurved hook and has damage to one of its bosses.
The object comprises a gilded trefoil base-plate 0.5mm thick, the edges of which are notched, surmounted by three hemispherical gilded bosses flanked by a solid encircling rib around each base. A copper alloy plate from a medieval composite strap-end, probably of the type with forked spacer and dating to c.1250-1450. The plate widens from an angled tip c.7.2mm wide to the opposite end (8.9mm wide) which has a 1.6mm diameter central piercing for an attachment rivet, now missing. Two lines of opposed punched triangles flank the edges, the bases of the triangles facing each other. A light brown concretion adheres to both the front and reverse surfaces. The object measures 24.1mm in length, 8.9mm in max.width, 0.5mm in thickness and weighs 0.37g.

An incomplete copper alloy Roman brooch consisting of the lower bow and catchplate, probably of Colchester or Colchester derivative type, dating to c. AD 25 - 150.
The catch plate is intact and openwork in form with a central triangular-shaped hole, one of edge of which is concave. The curl of the catchplate is decorated with three pairs of diagonal grooves, alternately arranged. A probable Middle Bronze Age (c.1500-1100 BC) solid gold bead of annular form and biconical profile with a central perforation measuring 2.9mm in diameter. It is max.7.6mm in diameter at the centre, narrowing to c.5mm diameter at either end, both of which show areas of damage. The bead stands 5.3mm in height and weighs 1.91g.

An incomplete Roman (AD 100-200) copper alloy enameled plate brooch of the equal-ended bridge type, missing its pin and the curl of the catchplate. It measures 33.27mm in length, 11.78mm in max.width and 12.75mm in height, weighing 4.13g.
The bow of the bridge is 19.65mm long and curving in profile, narrowing from 11.78 at the centre to c.8mm at either end.
