A corroded, damaged and incomplete cast lead-alloy medieval pilgrim's ampulla. The artefact is flask-shaped, with a rounded, sub-circular lower chamber. A Late Iron Age silver* uninscribed quarter stater of the Durotriges, Rudd's 'Duro Boat Bird' type (ABC 2208). This coin is similar to Van Arsdell's no. 1242-1, which is listed under his 'Durotriges, Uninscribed Coinage' and described as a 'Later Geometric Type, White Gold or Billion Quarter Stater' (1989: 296). It is similar to British Museum nos. 2734-47 (Hobbs 1996: 68). Rudd suggests a date c. 58 BC - AD 43 (2010: 110).
