An incomplete lead medieval pilgrim's ampulla (c.1150-1350). Bag shaped, missing its handles, and bent at more than 90 degrees at the neck. One side is decorated with numerous fine lines which fill the lower face to represent a shell. A lead alloy pilgrim badge dating to the medieval period (c.1350-1400AD). The badge takes the form of a rider on a horse and probably depicts St George. The head of the rider is missing as is the nose of the horse. The legs of the horse have been folded back on themselves. The front of the badge has moulded decoration picking out details of the riders clothes and horse fittings. The object is made from two pieces of sheet silver, one depicting the front of the owl and its perch, and the other depicting the folded wings on the back. The two pieces are sandwiched together, though they have become separated at the top. A lead alloy pilgrim badge depicting Mary (crowned and with sceptre) and child on a crescent moon. Apparently the moon (ever-changing) contrasts with the characteristics of Mary (stead-fast). Badges of this type were once thought to be made for Boulogne, but are now thought to be Willesden, London. There are the remains of attachment stubs on the back. cf PAS:2F06E6 for a similar example from the Thames.

An incomplete lead-alloy modern toy or souvenir in the shape of a throne. It is a copy of the Coronation Chair in Westminster Abbey, which was commissioned by Edward I to contain the Stone of Scone; the toy has moulded decoration including lions at the base of the throne's legs and quartefoil and arched decoration on the sides. The back of the throne does not have any decoration, suggesting that it was intended to rest against something, so not to be seen. The mount is very similar to objects described as straps from a coffret (a small coffer) in the Metropolitan Museum of Art catalogue Enamels of Limoges (Boehm and Taburet-Delahaye 1996, 152-3), and this is certainly what this object is. The relief-moulded piece depicts a human figure facing forwards, wearing a mitre,with a naked torso, draped waist and thighs; a beaded border surrounds the figure who holds a staff or cross in his right hand. A cast copper-alloy stirrup-strap mount (11th century AD). It is best classified as Williams Class A, Type 2B. It is a sub-triangular mount depicting a pair of snake-like beasts that form the mount's frame and curve round and inwards to end in a pair of addorsed heads. There is a single rivet hole in the trefoil-shaped terminal. At its neck it is 8.3mm wide. There are two rivet holes drilled through the base with iron corrosion within the rivet holes and an area of iron corrosion on the reverse of the mount just above the perpendicular flange.
