A cast copper-alloy late Iron age Flat linear cast bronze unit or 'potin' dating of the Cantiacii to c.85-70 BC. Obverse:Outline bust right with large central pellet. Reverse: Outline Ball butting left, with two crescents large central pellet. Signficant casting sprue and flash remains indicating poor casting. Holman type E1/2-1b, Measurements: 15.79mm in diameter, 2.12mm thick and 1.52g in weight.

A complete cast copper alloy (with high tin content) Iron Age potin of the Cantiaci (Kent) / South-Eastern Region dating to c.80-50 BC. Rounded Bull type cf. ABC 165. BMC 705-709. David Holman writes: This is a previously unrecorded variety. The nearest parallel is Holman type E1/4-5b, which has the same reverse but an obverse with the face joined to the top of the head. This new variety has a detached face. The obverse also has a stylistic link to E3/4-4a, also from Bucks, although the reverse is quite different.
