A worn copper alloy Iron Age unit, a bronze core for a plated contemporary copy of a Dobunni 'Cotswold Cock' silver unit (ABC 2012). There is damage to the edges of the flan however it is unclear if this is post-depositional or if the flan was small and damaged in the first place. There is no trace of any silvering remaining on the coin. This Dobunni issue dates from c. 50-25 BC. VA 1020, BMC 2950-51.
