An Iron Age copper alloy unit, probably of Tasciovanus (20-9 BC), dating 15-10 BC. The obverse is very worn so difficult to discern what it would have depicted. The reverse depicts a horse running left. Although the obverse is no longer legible, the ring and dot at the head and shoulder of the horse, as well as the crescent in the field, are common on the coins of Tasciovanus. A copper alloy 'Chichester Cock' bronze unit of the Regini (or Atrebates) dating to the period BC 65-45. Obverse depicts a helmeted head. Reverse depicts a small bearded head surmounted by a cock possibly holding a snake in its beak. "These coins are copied from Gaulish types.
