A fragment from a copper-alloy brooch of Roman date, dating to c. AD 80-200. The fragment consists of just the bow. It is sub-triangular shape with a slightly concave reverse. No decoration is present on either side.  The object is a green / brown in colour and has a worn and abraded surface patina.  Measurements: 26.4mm length, 7.7mm width, thickness 3.5mm, weight 1.1 grams.

An incomplete early Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) radiate-head brooch dating to AD 500-570. The base of the foot and pin are missing; but is otherwise complete. The head is broadly cruciform in plan, with a semi-circular head plate and three semi-cylindrical projections. A fragment of an early medieval (Anglo-Saxon) copper alloy small-long brooch. Only the foot of the brooch and a part of the bow survives. The bow fragment is D-shaped in cross-section with a steeply D shaped curve and a raised rectangular panel decorated with transverse grooves across its lower end. An incomplete, copper alloy, Headstud brooch of Roman dating, circa (AD 75 - 200). The pin, spring and lower half of the bow and catch plate are missing. In plan the brooch is T-shaped. The wings are rectangular in cross section and the bow is 'D' shaped in section with a flat rear face and rounded upper surface. An incomplete copper-alloy Roman enamelled plate brooch. It is disc-shaped and its outer face is decorated with a raised ring around the outer edge and two smaller concentric raised rings in the centre. The three fields between these rings contain a white paste, with the middle ring retaining red enamel. To one side of the reverse there is a single-lug pin fitting covered with corroded iron and to the other side the remains of a small catch-plate, its hooked outer edge missing. A silver annular brooch that has a semicircular cross-section frame with a constriction to one side to mount the pin. The frame is decorated with four animal heads that are arranged into two set. The first group is bordering the constriction bar with the two heads facing each other and the bar in between.
