Copper alloy door fitting. Cast plate to surround the keyhole in a wooden door, with a keyhole-shaped aperture surrounded by a moulded rayed pattern which becomes ribbed or segmented on the thickened outer edge of the plate. The keyhole aperture also stands a little proud of its setting; a drilled hole below the hole is presumably for fixing the plate. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1800-1900

An incomplete Post Medieval copper-alloy hooked tag (dress fastener) dating to circa AD 1550-1650. The whole piece is plano-convex in section. It is comprised of a rectangular apex loop. The body is sub-circular and openwork. Carrying a symmetrical design, it has two rows of circular openwork elements on each upper flank arranged in a 2-2 formation. In the centre is circular element comprised of circular pellets. The lower element of the front face is decorated with a moulded raised chevron. The hook is now survived only by a short stump.

A complete Post Medieval copper-alloy hooked tag (dress fastener) dating to circa AD 1550-1650. It is comprisedof a trapezoidal apex loop which is plano-convex in section. The body is circular with a convex front face and concave reverse. The front face is decorated with a moulded floriate design which is now so heavily worn that it cannot easily be distinguished. Projecting from the lower edge is a plano-convex in section rear facing hook.
It is consistent with Read's 2008 Class E Type 3 dating to the early part of the Post Medieval period.

An incomplete Medieval copper-alloy buckle dating to circa AD 1200-1400. The extant piece consists of the plate, surviving in two parts, now separated. The plates is formed of two sheets of copper alloy which would have been joined together by rivets. Two circular-sectioned rivets survive on the interior face of the front plate and slot through two circular rivet holes on the other plate, although now are no longer joined due to surrounding breaks. A damaged and incomplete cast copper alloy foot from a post medieval cauldron. The leg has a triangular cross section, tapering slightly to a small foot which is largely missing, removed by a smooth drilled(?) break. The upper end has a curved section of vessel wall remaining. One side of the leg has been damaged by drilling in two places.
The drill marks possibly represent an attempt to break up the metal for recycling.

An incomplete Post-Medieval copper alloy 'tombac' button, consisting of the upper domed plate dating c. AD 1600-1800.
Only the domed front hemisphere is present - it is discoidal, convex and D shaped in cross-section. The outer dome is decorated with an incised design of a double concentric triangle, with the central triangle carrying incised transverse grooves in each arm, generating a further central triangle. This design is surrounded by a zig-zag groove that forms further triangles, each with transverse incised lines.

It has an oval flat disc decorated on one side. The decoration consists of a thick band of corroded dark blue enamel with five surviving sub-oval empty recesses, surrounding a circular recess and a sub-oval centre. Part of the plate is missing. The reverse has traces of the lug and catchplate. The pin is missing.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman (British) plate brooch dating to the late 1st-mid-3rd century century AD (c. AD 80-250).
The brooch is almost complete, with part of the pin missing. It is a circular flat disc decorated on one side with a multi-angled polygon, however, the corrosion and dirt conceals the decoration. Traces of red enamel are visible. The design is surrounded by a border. The reverse has the sprung spring mechanism.

A complete cast copper-alloy four-arm cruciform seal matrix of post medieval (c. 17th century) date.
Four arms radiate equidistant from a rectangular central circular block with a drilled circular mounting hole at the centre. Each arm has been waisted with contraction before and then expanding outwards to terminate in a circular die face.
