An incomplete copper alloy Polden Hill variation brooch, dating from AD 80 to AD 160.
Over 75% of the brooch is present, with the foot, catch plate and pin missing.
The brooch has an angular head, with semi circular wings projecting from either side. These wings have a pierced wing caps. They have been decorated with three recessed vertical lines. No shoulder is present. Behind the wings, the spring is visible. It has six coils to the left and seven to the right of the pin. An incomplete copper alloy Polden Hill brooch of Roman date, circa (AD 80 - 120).
The brooch consists of the head, wings, bow and rearward facing hook. The pin, spring, foot and catchplate are missing.
The bow head is hump-like, and slightly angular (comma shaped) in profile. The rearward facing hook is present on the head. The bow is broad and is broken just above the foot. A complete copper alloy openwork zoomorphic cruciform mount of probable 11th Century dating.
The mount is cruciform in shape, with zoomorphic (animal) heads on each terminal. They have a rounded nose with two recessed circular eyes above. Two smaller circular recesses are positioned above the eyes as ears. The mount is domed and hollow. Above the zoomorphic heads, it extends into an openwork cube with the upper face solid with a circular recess. A gem or coral may have been originally been positioned here. An incomplete copper alloy mount of probable Post Medieval dating (AD 1600 to AD 1800).
The mount is roughly arrow shaped with a central tang, and curved wings with barbs to either side. Each barb terminates with a rounded pellet. There is a central raised ridge which continues into the tang, which expands slightly. The wings are decorated with a curvi-linear line. On the reverse are two integral attachment spikes, these have an diameter of 2.2 mm. The mount has been bent almost at ninety degrees, below the point of the arrowhead.

An incomplete copper alloy probable strap end of Late Early Medieval dating (AD 750 to AD 900).
The probable strap end is sub rectangular in shape, with one rounded terminal and one squared terminal. Long edge are bevelled. Both sides have been decorated with a similar design, with an engraved elongated V in parallel with the edges of the strap end. The squared terminal is incomplete.
It measures 28.4 mm in length, 7.3 mm wide and 3.3 mm thick. It weighs 2.9 g.

An incomplete copper alloy strap end of Early-Medieval date (AD 750-900).
The object is flat in profile and sub-rectangular in plan with a rounded tip. The opposing terminal is incomplete, no rivet holes are present but the upper and lower plates are visible. The upper surface of the plate has an incised decoration composed of a moulded and incised zoomorphic style terminal with a rounded snout. At the top of the strap end, is a rectangular panel with probable interlace decoration, and potential niello inlay.

A near complete Roman copper alloy hinged Hod Hill type E brooch dating to the period c. AD 40 - 60. Only the pin is missing.
The head of the brooch projects backwards in a sub-rectangular plate which has been rolled forwards around a (possibly copper alloy) axis bar. The head survives to a width of 16.6mm and is 3.1mm thick where it contains the axis bar. A slot has subsequently been cut into the reverse of the head to accommodate the pin which is missing.

An incomplete copper alloy Colchester derivative Polden Hill brooch of Roman date (AD 80-120).
Only the head, one wing and bow remain. The right hand wing is partially remaining with the spring, pin, foot and catch plate missing. A semi-circular end cap is present at the end of the wing. The bow head is slightly angular (comma shaped). Located at the reverse of the head is a broadly oval concave recess where the spring would have been held in place. The bow tapers from the head to a pointed damaged and incomplete foot. A vertical ridge runs the length of the bow.

The spindle whorl is sub-circular in plan, with a central, circular perforation extending vertically through the object (internal diameter 9.1 mm). An incomplete vesica or pointed oval lead or lead alloy seal matrix, of Medieval dating (AD 1300 to AD 1400).
The reverse has a complete tab handle. A vertical ridge extends down the length of the seal, beneath the tab handle. The central device is a double fleur de lys / lis, joined at the base, so one points upwards and the other downwards. An inscription is present around the edge, however it is illegible.

A complete pewter ferrule of probable Post Medieval dating (AD 1600 to AD 1800).
Originally the ferrule was more conical in shape, but has now been flattened. A right hand engraved spiral is present as decoration curving around all sides. It is hollow. Both top and bottom edges are complete.
It measures 22.4 mm in length, it now has a width of 17.5 mm and 6.9 mm thick. The walls are 1.2 mm thick. It weighs 5.6 g.
The ferrule is a dark grey colour, with an even surface patina.

A complete Middle Bronze Age palstave axe of the Group 3 type dating to c. 1400 – 1150 cal BC.
The butt of the axe is c.15.4mm wide, c.3.4mm thick and is slightly worn giving it an uneven slightly convex shape.. The septum measures c. 48.8mm in length. The flanges of this axe begin just after the butt and widen in a slightly convex line up the length of the septum. After this point, in side profile, the blade sides narrows in a slightly convex curve towards the cutting edge.

A small cast spherical iron canon ball with a diameter of 78 mm weighing 1758 grams dating to c. AD 1550 – 1750. It is spehrical and a dark orange brown colour. It likely relates to the civil war.
The size of the ball suggest that it is from a Falcon, Minion, or possible it might have been used in a larger calibre field piece, firing canister shot. A damaged flint leaf-shaped arrowhead, dating from Early to Middle Neolithic - c. 4000 BC to 2700 cal BC
The arrowhead is made of a tertiary flake of medium to light grey semi-glossy flint. It has been knapped into a pointed oval shape with one point being more rectangular to form a tang. Both surfaces have been worked bifacially with invasive, low angled parallel retouch on all margins and beyond towards the medial area of the arrowhead. It is a pointed oval in cross section.
