An incomplete enamelled and copper alloy dragonesque style brooch, of Roman dating (AD 80 to AD 200). Over 75% of the brooch is present, consisting of the main plate and the top part of the pin.  The brooch consists of a central plate, representing the body, with a constricted neck curving upwards and matching tail curving downwards.
