Bent incomplete cast copper alloy composite strap end with a spacer occupying a third of its length. Similar to those on page 147 of Egan and Pritchard (1991). The strap end is sub-rectangular in plan with a rounded knop at the end. The strap end has has two rivits either end, one for strap and one for spacer. As Egan and Pritchard plate 696. Dates circa 1150-1450.

Post-Medieval, Copper-Alloy Strap-End. Rectangular segment of the single-sheeted folded group, seen through the evidence of breakage along one of the smaller sides. Corrosion evident with the green colour. Irregular shape- hand-made. The face seems to have grooves, seen through the lack of green corrosion. a lip can be seen along one of the longer edges. Medieval, 13th-14th Century, Copper-Alloy, triangular shaped strap end. Perhaps would have had been a folded-style strap fitting, as a broken edge can be seen. There is a small pierced hole near the top with evidence of the fastening evidence. It is green and grey which is due to the corrosion.  Would have been created by folding over a singular piece of metal sheet.  An incomplete Silver strap end of Early medieval date c. 800-900 AD. This object is Thomas Class A type 1 is decorated in the Trewhiddle style.  The strap end is a long oval shape with slightly convex sides, narrowing to the zoomorphic terminal. The attachment end is broken off. A fragment of a Medieval casted copper-alloy strap end. Sub-rectangular with tapered terminal. Decorated with a floral design with a niello overlay which can be seen with the brownish corrosion on the face.  On the reverse there is no decoration. There is evidence of corrosion which may be due to the item being near an iron item however it may be evidence of decomposing organic material, leather, wood etc. There is no evidence of niello on the back. A small late medieval cast copper alloy three part composite strap end, with both facing plates and the spacer remaining. The strap end is 21.5mm in length with a small pointed knop at the centre of the rounded front edge. The rear edge is slightly concave with pointed corners. There is a single rivet hole through the centre of the plate which retains a copper alloy rivet.

A cast copper alloy early Medieval (Anglo Saxon) strap end of Thomas' Class B Type 1. The zoomorphic terminal has clearly defined ears, brow and eyes over a narrow snout with concave sides. The narrow body of the object has a plano convex section and is undecorated. There is a flared and split rear end with two attachment holes retaining copper alloy rivets. The upper surface has an incised pelta-shaped motif and linear borders all around.

A fragment of the spacer plate from a cast copper-alloy composite strapend of medieval date (c. AD 1250-1450). The strap end was of circular type, around 32.2mm in diameter. The surviving portion comprises the rear edge and the forked prongs, one of which is mostly lost. When complete it would have had plates mounted on either side and a decorative terminal at the tip, probably in the form of an acorn.

The plate is oval, expanding from the split rear edge, where there are a pair of rivet holes, to a maximum width of 9.6mm before narrowing into a thin pointed zoomorphic terminal. The plate has traces of geometric decoration, with a series of nested curved grooves flanking the rivet holes and the moulded terminal, with unclear parallel elements running between along the centre.
