A complete late Roman silver finger ring of the ‘Brancaster’ type, dating to c.AD 300 - 450. Description: The band of the finger ring is broad, thick and regular, with a noticeably raised integral rectangular bezel arranged transversely across the apex. The bezel has a slight ridge running along the centre, giving the impression that it may have two facets; however, the finger ring is corroded and pitted, and almost all surface detail has been lost.
