A heavily billon silver douzain of Henry III of France (r.1575-1589), but coins struck in his name until at least 1594, uncertain type and mint. The coin has been countermarked with fleur de lis in oval of pellets to revalue it at 15 deniers under Louis XIII during the ordinance of June 1640. The coin is also suffering some verdi gris from the copper-alloy of the billon silver base. Measurements: Thickness: 1.02mm, diameter: 23.2mm and weight: 1.37g.

A complete Iron Age copper-alloy / base silver Siculo-Punic coin, minted in Carthage or Sicily between c. 320 and 280 BC. Obverse: Head of Tanit left wearing wreath and corn ears. Reverse: Horse standing right in front of date palm. The coin is 15.4mm in diameter, 2.6mm thick and weighs 1.96 grams.
