A complete Late Post Medieval gold finger ring, dating to c. AD 1800-1850. The hoop of the ring is slightly sub-circular in plan. The bezel has an orange/red glass sub-circular setting, with a slight blemish within the glass. The shoulders of the ring are decorated with a possible foliate design, but this is difficult to distinguish. A Late Bronze Age, gold, square-sectioned, penannular bar-bracelet, dating to c.1300-800 cal BC. The body of the bracelet is solid, extended out and slightly twisted, flaring out at each terminal to a flattened off circle 5.5mm in diameter. A clipped imitation of a medieval gold quarter noble of Edward III (1327-1377). The obverse shows annulets on the cusps of the tressure and a lis in the centre of the reverse suggesting the prototype was a quarter noble of Edward III's Treaty Period, the annulets seen in the 'Transitional Series' of 1361-3 (North 1224), the lis seen in the Treaty Series of 1363-9 (North 1243-4). A Medieval to Post-Medieval gold 10 Cruzados (Português) of Manuel I of Portugal (1495-1521), dating to AD1499-1521 (Gomez 74.05). The coin has a small, round punch mark (located at 3 o'clock on the line of the inner circle on the obverse, and by the top of the central cross at at 1 o'clock on the reverse) which has almost pierced the coin. A complete Medieval gold annular brooch, dating to c. AD 1200-1400, with constriction for the pin. The band is wedge-shaped in section with a ring of small conjoined pellets on the upper surface and a legend on the outer face which reads, ‘IE SVI FLVR D[E] BO[N]’, meaning “I am a flower of good”. A fragment of a Roman sheet gold leaf ornament, dating to c. AD 300-400. The object comprises a single thin sheet of gold cut into the form of a leaf with a midrib and the remains of six pairs of radiating veins. The veins are also incised though on alternating sides with the first pair being on the same side as the rib, the second pair on the opposite side, and so on. A Post-Medieval gold finger-ring of the type known as a puzzle ring, dating to c. AD1700-1900 . It consists of three interlinking gold hoops, each with a sub-square cross-section with rounded angles. Found whilst metal detecting on cultivated land at a depth of 3 inches. Gold ingot of probable Bronze Age date. The find is a slightly bent cylindrical length of gold. One end is complete and flat, the other is slightly twisted and was probably broken by hammering a dent and breaking it across the thinnest place.
