A fragment of an Early Medieval copper alloy rectangular mount, c.AD 500-700. This is a fragment of a rectangular mount with raised zoomorphic decoration. The mount is sub-rectangular in plan with flat faces. The upper surface has a plain border, with an one- to three-stranded interlaced zoomorphic decoration in the form of at least one creature. The ends and sides are damaged and end in old breaks. Gilding survives on the upper surface. The reverse is flat and undecorated with little of the patina surviving.

An incomplete Early Medieval copper alloy pin, c.AD 700 - 900. The pin has a flat irregular lozenge or hexagonal shaped head, with three ring-and-dot decorations stamped in a triangle on both faces of the pin head. There is a single ring-and-dot decoration on the sides of the pin head. From the base of the head a rectangular-sectioned shaft, which appears to have a subtle narrowed collar and ends in an old break. The metal has a dark brown patina. An Early Medieval cast copper alloy stirrup strap mount, c.AD 1000-1100. This mount is sub-triangular with convex sides and a horizontal base. At the top is an integral tri-lobed apex attachment loop and at the base of the mount are two more rivet holes, which are in-filled with rusted iron. The front of the mount has a border surrounding a moulded zoomorphic decoration in the form of a lion facing upwards with left paw raised and tail curled between the legs and over the back. Copper alloy buckle. Cast single looped-shaped buckle with an expanded and thickened outer edge and with a biting beast head at either end of a narrowed strap bar; a groove serves as a pin rest. A narrow rectangular slotted plate of thickness 0.5mm with a rounded end flanked by spurs on the display side is looped round the strap bar and was secured by three rivets, one passing through the rounded terminal of the plate. An incomplete Anglo-Scandinavian cast copper-alloy bridle bit link of early medieval date. It has a rectangular shaft that is D-shaped in section with flat back and rounded front face which has a rounded boss before the incomplete end. At the complete end, there is a knobbed loop. Length 41.21mm, width 20.38mm, weight 9.99g. The object consists of a domed, concave centre that is decorated with an incised ring and dot in the centre of the dome. Protruding from opposite sides are two rounded knops. A copper alloy sword pommel of Petersen's Type S. It is comprised of five lobes, a larger central one and two of diminishing sizes set either side of this. There is the remains of the fixing in the top of the pommel and a hole through it. Inside are possible remains of wood and perhaps some of the fixing. According to Leahy and Lewis (2018: 328), this style of pommel is of an English type but is also attributed to Viking use. This is an incomplete scabbard chape of Early-Medieval date, possibly an end protector for a knife scabbard. It finds parallels in a number of examples recorded through the PAS (e.g. LIN-E5C477, SF-0E88A2, HAMP-1DA880 or WAW-03F886) and is of probable c.11th century AD date. It depicts a possibly a bear-like creature or man with a straight bar behind and above the figure, the lower part is missing due to old breaks. It is 35.2mm length, 15.8mm width, 2.1mm thickness, 4.34g.
