The object consists of a domed, concave centre that is decorated with an incised ring and dot in the centre of the dome. Protruding from opposite sides are two rounded knops. Extending from the other two opposite sides are two arms that have a D-shaped section and narrow slightly before curving outwards and terminating in a worn break. Fragment of an undecorated late early-medieval copper-alloy harness fitting, probably a double-ended strap link. It consists of part of a straight arm terminating in an oval loop at one end.
