A fragment of a middle bronze age copper alloy palstave axehead dating between 1600-1150 BC. The fragment consists of the lower half of the palstave, the butt end is missing. The blade corners and cutting edge are missing, the cutting edge being lost to an oblique, worn break. Toward the butt, the blade end terminates in a worn, flat break with a sub-rectangular cross-section. The entire object is heavily worn and pitted, with a mottled green patina. A complete Medieval copper alloy rotary key dating between AD 1300-1500. The openwork bow is lozenge shaped in plan, with a sub-rectangular cross section and bevelled interior edges. A complete Medieval lead-alloy Papal bulla of Pope Boniface VIII dating to AD 1294-1303. It is discoidal in plan with straight edges. The obverse carries a border of pellets situated in which is an inscription in three lines reading BONI/FATIVS/P.P. VIII. The reverse bears the standard images of the faces of St. Paul and St. Peter each surrounded by an aureole of pellets, with a cross in between them and the inscription SPASPE above. An incomplete copper-alloy Trumpet brooch of Roman date, c. AD 75-175. Mackreth 2011, Trumpet Type 1.2b1, Plate 80, no.11826. The head is ovate with a single centrally positioned integral vertical lug to the reverse. The spring remain though the pin is lost. An axis bar remains fitted through the lug. Five (5) turns of the spring remain around the axis bar. The front of the ornate head is decorated with a pair of recessed arcs which were likely inlaid with enamel. A complete, medieval, gilded copper alloy annular brooch with pin in situ dating from AD1200-1400. These were pinned at the neck to fasten two parts of clothing together (Ward-Perkins 1940, 237-75), or used purely decoratively by both men and women.
