A complete copper alloy circular disc brooch dating to the second century AD 200-350. The brooch has been cast in a circular flat disc form with a "bulls eye" design created by three raised annular circular ridges between which enamel has been added. The brooch is rectangular in cross section. Traces of the enamel remain with a turquoise blue enamel filling the outer ring, a reddish brown enamel in the sencond ring and blue enamel in the centre. An incomplete cast copper alloy Nauheim Derivative, La Tène III brooch of late Iron Age to Roman (c. AD 25-100) date. The brooch is cast as one piece. The spring is coiled with four loops made of a thick copper alloy wire (2-3mm thickness). Silver ovoid annular brooch. The frame is of concave-sided square cross-section, twisted cable-style, with a row of filigree pellets along each face and a pin constriction which holds a D-section silver pin, now broken near the loop. In rather fragile condition. Dimensions: External diam. 16 x 14mm. Weight 0.68g. Very similar to an example from Stanfield, Norfolk (HER 7241, 2002 T151, Treasure Annual Report 2002, 80, no.76). Copper alloy brooch fragment. Cast hinged Colchester derivative brooch, Mackreth type CD H 4.a.  A plate 56, no. 2467. Almost plain tubular wings - there is a thin wavy oblique moulding on the front of the wings on either side – clenched behind retain an axis bar and the stub of a pin.
