An incomplete copper-alloy late Iron Age to early Roman brooch of the Langton Down Type, dating to AD 25-60 and is missing its pin. It consists of a cylindrical spring case, which still houses part of the spring coils and the upper part of the pin. The back face of the case has a central slot from which a fragment of the pin protrutes.The bow is flat and sub rectangular in shape with three prominent ridges and there are two curved grooves either side of the spring cover. An incomplete Roman copper-alloy devolved T-shaped brooch of Hull T131 dating to 50 to 150 AD. The pin, part of one wing, and the catchplate are missing. There is a worn break about halfway down the bow. The head has two short cylindrical wings, 18.92mm wide, to hold the axis bar for the hinged pin. An incomplete copper-alloy brooch of Roman date (AD 75 - 175). The object is a Trumpet brooch of Bayley and Butcher 2004, Group B, and is composed of an oval head plate. On the reverse of which is a single pierced lug through which is a wire axis bar which forms a coiled wire spring and partially retained pin. An incomplete, heavily abraded Roman brooch of Colchester derivative, Polden Hill type dating from AD 90-130. The brooch has been heavily abraded during its time in the soil. It is undecorated.
