A complete lead medieval to post-medieval penny sized Boy Bishop token dating to the period c.AD 1470-1539 AD. Probably Rigold's (1978, 94) Bury Series 1F.
Obverse: .:.SANCTVS NICHOL[] - Mitre.
Reverse: AVE:/.REX/GEN/.TIS .:. - Long cross dividing the legend, three pellets in each quarter, all within an inner circle.
Diameter: 14.98mm, thickness: 1.42mm, weight: 1.30g

Piedfort striking of denier tournois of Philippe IV le Bel, King of France, 4.87g (Duplessy 223)
I have examined an object reported found at Kenninghall, Norfolk. The object is a piedfort or piéfort striking of the coin-type known as the denier tournois of Philippe IV, King of France (1284-1314).The reference to the coin is J. Duplessy, Les monnaies françaises royales (1988) no. 223. Four other examples of this type of piedfort are referenced in another catalogue, J. Lafaurie, Les monnaies des rois de France (1951), no. 228a..

Four copper-alloy Nuremberg type rose and orb jetons very worn and damaged with illegible legends. All with traces of alternate crowns and fleur de lis arranged centrifually around a central rose on one face and an imperial orb surmounted by a cross patty within a tressure of three main arches on the other. They measure; 22mm diameter and 0.81g, 21mm in diameter and 1.16g, 19mm in diameter and 0.55g and finally c20mm diameter and 0.63g. These tokens could date from 1500-c1650.
