Lead token, circular with relief decoration on both faces (also known as a biface token). The obverse has two large Roman initials, an A just off centre and a possible B or P squashed in alongside. The reverse has a simple cross with a single pellet centrally set in each angle. The edges are a bit battered and damaged and there is a large scratch down the A on the obverse. Diameter c. 20mm. Initials are Powell type 2, a cross is Powell type 14. The token is similar to PUBLIC-12B5F3 and probably dates to the 16th or 17th centuries.

A post-medieval lead probable unifacial token with punched incuse design dating to c. 1500-c. 1850. The obverse features a cross with crescentic terminals. The flan appears to have been cut from a sheet of lead rather than cast. The object measures 34.7mm in length, is 22.3mm wide, has a thickness of 3.3mm, and weighs 26.4g. The cross design has been damaged by a deep diagonal gash, which looks to have been inflicted intentionally.

A complete medieval to post-medieval unifacial cast lead sub-circular token of Powell Type 14. The token is decorated on one face with a long cross and a pellet in each quarter; the other face is undecorated. It measures 18.04mm in diameter and 2.29 mm thick and weighs 4.25 grams. Lead tokens were easy to produce and widely circulated; examples with long cross and pellet designs were originally meant to emulate medieval long cross pennies, however they continued in use throughout both the medieval and post-medieval periods. Therefore, a general date of c. 1250-1800 is suggested …
