Description The object is a piedfort or piéfort striking of the coin-type known as the double parisis of Charles IV the Fair, King of France (1322-1328). This version of the type was originally introduced in 1323. The reference to the coin is J. Duplessy, Les monnaies françaises royales (1988) no. 244b; an alternative reference work, J. The object is sub circular in form and slightly domed in section, resembling a heart motif. It is decorated on its domed side with radiating raised lines and with a circles of raised pellets in between, just inside a solid raised border. Possibly a Post Medieval uniface lead token, dating to AD 1500-1750. One face is decorated with an eight spoke wheel, the other is undecorated
