A cast lead token, probably dating to the early Post Medieval period (AD 1550 to 1700). The token is flat and circular. The obverse depicts a heart pierced by two daggers. There appears to be a circumferential legend but this is illegible. The reverse depicts a lozenge flanked by the letters 'IS'. The 'S' is depicted retrograde. Again, although there appears to be a circumferential legend, this is for the most part illegible, with only 'XI[....]' visible. The token measures 19mm in diameter.
