A copper-alloy trade token dating to AD 1668. The obverse possesses a beaded border enclosing the inscription 'HIS/HALFE/PENNY above three flowers, with the legend 'OF PYRTON 1668'. The reverse possesses a beaded border enclosing a tobacco roll with the inscription 'rosetteFrosette' above and 'rosetteIrosetteErosette' below and the legend 'IOHN FARMER'.

A post-medieval copper-alloy 17th-century token halfpenny probably issued by Hugo Bradiford of Rickling, Essex. See Williamson (1967, 228) Essex no. 255 (attributed to Quendon), see Thompson (1988, Pl. XXI) no. 1340, dated 1669 (on token). It measures 20.16 mm in diameter and weighs 1.58 g This has been marked as a Find of Note due to diligent research by the finder. A post-medieval copper-alloy 17th-century token halfpenny issued by James Goodwin of King's Langley, Hertfordshire, dated 1668 (on token). Williamson (1967, 319) Hertfordshire no. 136. The token has a diameter of 21.02 mm, and weighs 0.97 g. It has been bent at one point of its circumference.
