A post-medieval copper-alloy 17th-century token halfpenny issued by Richard Belbin of Ringwood, Hampshire. Williamson (1967, 269) Hampshire no. 168 var., dated 1668 (on token). It measures 18.86mm in diameter, is 0.84mm thick and weighs 1.407g. Identification as a variety is based on the spelling of 'penny' on the reverse: here with a double rather than single 'n'.

Dalton & Hamer (1977, 225) no. 25; see also Mathias (1962, 46/pl. VIII; no. 5) The object is a little distorted. It has a diameter of 28.16 mm, is 1.54 mm thick and weighs 7.440 g
