A post-medieval copper-alloy 17th-century token farthing issued by Thomas Bridle of Blandford Forum, Dorset. Williamson (1967, 171) Dorset no. 10, dated 1659 (on token). It measures 15.23mm in diameter, 0.44mm in thickness and weighs 0.443g. On both faces the legend begins between around 10 and 11 o'clock. The two circumferential curved removals appear to be the result of cutting the blanks, as sometimes seen with jettons, rather than losses through use.
