Cast copper alloy buckle, annular D sectioned with a flattened inner face. The upper edge bears a circumferential recessed band which contains a row of raised pellets. This face has been gilded. On the back of the buckle are two raised areas showing where the buckle bar had been fitted.

Asymmetric two part buckle, double frame, one side D shaped, the other trapesoid. Separately made tongue held by an iron axial pin. Tongue terminates in two perforated lugs. Frame slightly curved.

Copper alloy knee buckle, concave sides and ends each decorated with deep, scrolled mouldings. Spindle and pin missing but are represented by iron staining. The buckle is slightly curved along its length.

A fragment of a late seventeenth or eighteenth century two part, cast copper alloy buckle frame. The surviving part is in the form of a human head, possibly a king's head. The head is facing and has a curved hand on his head which has three grooves and may be the band of a crown. Above the band, is a triangular projection at end with a square pellet on, which may in fact be the side fleurs of the crown. Very unusual copper-alloy buckle. The frame and plate are cast in one piece, and it is very thick and chunky. The frame is D-shaped, with an animal head at the pin rest. This has a pair of eyebrows which run downwards to form the nose; the nose ends in a large rounded knob. A knobby eye sits below each eyebrow. There do not appear to be any ears. A groove runs around the outer edge of the frame from the outside of each eyebrow and stops at the junction of the frame and plate.
