A silver pendant set with jet, probably a pilgrim souvenir and of later medieval to early post medieval date. The pendant has a silver backing plate which is pelta or scallop shaped, with a cable style border and a setting of leaf-shaped projections which hold the stone. A solder scar from a now missing suspension loop is visible at the top of the rear of the plate. The stone has the same scallop-shell shape as the plate and projects forward, carved in deep relief with a stylised representation of a shell with the figure of St James the Great superimposed. An incomplete silver strap fitting of post medieval date. The fitting has a plate with a flat trapezoidal cross section which expands from a moulded rounded terminal to an old break. The broken end of the plate has traces of a panel of worn moulded sinuous decoration along the centre; the precise composition or form is not clear. The remaining terminal of the object has a rounded knop which appears to be cast in the form of a flower bud. A complete silver thimble of post medieval date (c.1625-1725). There is a plain rim around the base, above which is a beaded band and then a band of foliate trefoil decoration. On one sides of the thimble this band contains two heart shaped escutcheons, flanked by putti (cupids), carrying initials WW with an unclear maker's mark, possibly AG, in a small escutcheon above. The thimble has been crushed. Length: 20.2mm; Width: 10.8; Height: 14.8mm; Weight: 3.44g.

The findspot has not been subject to professional archaeological investigation, but the low degree of dispersal suggests scattering from a container destroyed by ploughing. A complete silver fede ring. The ring, featuring the clasped hands motif with a heart at the centre and elaborate mouldings at the cuffs, is very finely modelled, and in excellent condition. It is complete, apart from the back having been broken which has resulted in the two broken ends slightly overlapping and the ring effectively becoming smaller.

A domed silver cover from a composite button of post Medieval date. The front has incised decoration comprising an hexafoil design with pointed leaves and incised veins, radiating from a small central circular boss, which is hollow on the reverse. Around the flower are small panels of transverse lines and a double line border. The rim of the button is divided into three triangular panels of geometric decoration with panels of transverse lines between giving the effect of a double flower across the button face. The back plate and loop shank have been lost. Circa 17th century.

A hollow post Medieval silver button made from sheet metal, in the form of an acorn. One half of the cup is textured or stippled with punch marks, the other side is smooth, with two small pierced blow holes. This asymmetry may suggest an intended orientation to the object when worn. There is a small knop at the apex of the acorn and a scar for a missing attachment loop on the base. The button is slightly flattened and has a dent in one side.
